Clarence Coffee, Jr.

Clarence Coffee, Jr., aka “Coffee” is a three time Recording Academy Grammy Award winning songwriter, record producer, and creative director from Miami, FL.

Notably, Coffee co-wrote nine songs on Dua Lipa’s record-breaking album, Future Nostalgia. Due to his extensive participation, he was nominated as a Songwriter by The Recording Academy for Album of the Year.  In addition, both Coffee and Dua Lipa were awarded a Grammy for Pop vocal Album of the Year.

Clarence Coffee, Jr. is a co-writer of the record-breaking RIAA Diamond Certified(10x platinum) song, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa. “Levitating” is the 3rd longest running Billboard Top 10 in music history, with a total of 41 weeks. Additionally, “Levitating” was named the best-performing single of the year on Billboard Hot 100, awarded Song of The Year by iHeartRadio Music Awards, and reached #1 on US mainstream Top 40 radio and  #1 on US Adult Contemporary Top 40 radio.

Coffee also co-wrote the song “Un Dia (One Day)” by recording artists J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa, and Tainy. “Un Dia” reached #1 on Billboard Latin radio charts, and is RIAA Diamond Certified. 

The creative diversity of Clarence Coffee, Jr. can be heard in many other songs by incredible recording artists, including “Heated” by Beyoncé from her multi-platinum, Billboard #1 album, Renaissance. Coffee, as a credited co-writer of “Heated”, was awarded a Grammy win for Best Dance/Electronic Album by The Recording Academy for his participation.  Other global superstar recording artists Coffee has collaborated and co-written with include: Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, FKA Twigs, Justin Bieber, H.E.R., Nile Rodgers, Jessie Ware, Madonna, and many others. 

In 2023 Clarence Coffee, Jr. created a global music publishing company Artism Mind Music, in partnership with Kobalt Music Publishing.
