John O'Mahony is a Grammy Nominated Mixer known for his work with such acclaimed artists as Coldplay, Metric, Sara Bareilles, Oh Land and The Cribs. Recent career highlights for John include mixing / co-producing Sara Bareilles’ The Blessed Unrest which recived a 2014 Grammy Nomiation for Album Of The Year and Metric’s Juno winning Synthetica. As part of the mixing team for Coldplay’s Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends John recived a 2009 Grammy Nomiation for Album Of The Year and was also awarded the 2009 Tec Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in the category of Record Production / Album. John moved from his native Ireland to his current home New York City in 1998 to work as a staff engineer for some of the city’s top studios. In the summer of 2001, John went independent splitting his time between mixing albums alone and engineering for renowned producer Andy Wallace. While working mostly out of New York City and Los Angeles John has made records all over the world including spells in Nashville, Copenhagen, London and Toronto.
